Shipping & Order Processing

Katie Eats Boston ships nationwide (continental U.S.) via UPS Ground, 2nd Day Air, and Next Day Air at standard rates. UPS delivers Monday–Friday, with Saturday delivery available for eligible residential addresses (via UPS Ground).

Order Processing & Shipping Schedule

  • Orders placed by Wednesday at 2 PM EST → Ship the following Monday or Tuesday
  • Orders placed after Wednesday at 2 PM EST → Ship the next week
  • Ground shipping → Sent only on Mondays & Tuesdays
  • Next-Day & 2nd Day Air → Recommended for time-sensitive orders

🚫 UPS does not deliver to P.O. Boxes or APO addresses.

Important Shipping Notes

  • High demand (especially during holidays) may cause delays.
  • Incorrect or incomplete addresses may result in additional fees or failed delivery.
  • Once a tracking number is generated, orders cannot be changed or canceled.
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable if delays are due to recipient unavailability or business closures.
  • Peak season (Nov–Feb) orders are processed in the order received. Need a specific delivery date? Leave a note at checkout—we'll do our best!
  • We are not responsible for carrier delays, especially during busy shipping periods.

Local Pick-Up (Massachusetts Only)

We occasionally offer local pick-up at partnered businesses. Check our website & social media for announcements.

Guaranteed Freshness

  • For states outside of a 1-2 day ground shipping window, we highly recommend Next-Day or 2nd Day Air shipping for best quality.
  • Ground shipping takes 1–2 days for nearby states (northeast region).
  • Cookies stay fresh for 5 days (longer if refrigerated). Do not refrigerate royal-iced cookies—it may soften the icing.
  • Refrigerated cookies? Let them sit at room temp for 10 minutes before enjoying.

Preorders

  • Pre-order items ship together with in-stock items. Want them separately? Contact us—extra shipping fees apply.

Returns & Cancellations

  • Due to their perishable nature, all sales are final—no returns or exchanges.
  • Orders cannot be canceled once a tracking number is assigned.
  • Custom & bulk orders are final sale once placed.

Corporate & Large Orders

  • Orders of 48+ cookies or custom designs must be placed 14+ days in advance.
  • Rush orders (under 14 days) may incur a 30% rush fee.
